After saving nearly $11,000 over four years for a senior class trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Fredericksburg High School Class of 2020 is instead donating the money to the Fredericksburg Food Pantry.

 “I think we’re all just kind of hungry for something good,” Class Vice President Amy Dittmar told KXAN. “Knowing that we were able to do something this good and this impactful, just seeing people smile right now, is just the best thing ever.”

That last name sound familiar? Yes, Amy is the daughter of our CFO, Lori Dittmar.
