Carmen Martinez of the Food and Nutritional Services Department won the 2019 Cookie Contest with her delicious Snowballs.
As the top winner, Carmen received a Kitchen Aid classic series 4.5-quart tilt-head stand mixer.
The other contest winners were:
2nd place to Cindy Ames for her Chocolate and Peanut Butter Dream Bars, for which she won a Spode Christmas Tree 12-piece dinnerware set, service for 4.
3rd place to Terry Smith for his White Walkers, for which he won a Spode Christmas tree platter.
4th place to Alisa Knipp for her The Grinch Stole My Cookie bars, for which she won a glass baking dish with the La Hacienda logo engraved on it.

Staff members again judged the entries, dropping small candy canes into bags next to the treats they liked the best. The esteemed accounting firm of Dittmar & Givens tabulated the results.
In addition to enjoying lots of great cookies, hot cocoa was also served to the many staff who attended the contest.
Retiring Facility Compliance Manager Beth Fearing was recognized by Art and received a special gift from Gail and Patty. (More will be posted about Beth shortly)
